29 Weeks

29 weeks down…

Anybody else feel like time is FLYING by?  No?  Just me.  Okay.

Not much to report this week.  My total weight gain is holding steady at 17 pounds.  Foxy is weighing in at 3 pounds, 2 ounces.

This morning I saw my OB.  She measured me and said, “wow, this baby is measuring bigger than 29 weeks!”  This is in addition to my fetal specialist calling Foxy “a chunkster” last week.  So I am trying to get my mind right for pushing out a large child.

I’ve also developed some sort of random rash on my hip.  It appeared overnight.  If it doesn’t clear up this week, my doc suggested I head to see my dermatologist.  I haven’t seen him since the first trimester when I was attempting to get my baby/hormonal acne under control.  I kinda wouldn’t mind telling him he was wrong and I’m not having a boy.  But I’m not trying to pay the $30 to prove my point.  Feel me?

This weekend was largely a good one.  I got in a great walk Saturday morning.  Saturday evening we celebrated Tim’s birthday with his family.  Everyone seemed to have a good time, but I really didn’t feel so hot.  I was really tired and my back hurt all evening.  In fact, my back is pretty much hurting all the time now.  Joy.

I did manage to make a little magic in the kitchen before going to his mom’s house.  I knew Tim’s mom was making his favorite cake, so I decided to do something a little different for those that didn’t like lemon pound cake.

These dalmation cupcake were delicious!  I saw the recipe in one of those cupcake magazines.  They have a cream cheese center and vanilla frosting.  They seemed to be a hit with the family, as I came home with an empty container.

Sunday was all about Rehab’s bridal shower, but that deserves it’s own post.

How was your weekend?
