Okay, let’s be real, this little girl is treated like a princess every day, but I believe that birthdays are extra special. Yesterday it was all about Regan, so we did things that I knew she would like. Here are a few pictures from the day.
Our first stop was breakfast. My girl loves her some eggs and toast. And at the end of the breakfast, out server surprised her with a delicious fruit crepe! I thought that was so sweet. It was hilarious when she stuck her hand out into the whipped cream. She’s never had it before.
After breakfast we headed to the pool. Regan just loves getting in the water and splashing about.
Once we finished at the pool it was time to open a few presents and cards.
After a nice long nap we had lunch and then…more presents arrived!
In the evening we made our first trip to Chuck E Cheese’s. I haven’t been since I was a kid and I was dreading it, but I have to tell you it was kinda dope. The pizza was tasty, they had little rides for baby and there was a giant mouse walking around. Regan waved at him and then stared. When he started his show, we headed on down to do the cupid shuffle with him. But once he started making it rain with game tickets we were out.
After dinner it was time for baby to have a true birthday treat. We headed to an ice cream shop so she could try ice cream for the first time. She loved it!
At the end of the day we were both exhausted, but we had an awesome day. Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I told Regan all about it and I think she thought it was sweet too. 🙂
