    That is so sweet! We were originally planning to teach Kate Spanish as well (Alan is fairly fluent & Shelby’s been taking in HS and passing with 90%’s) but she’s had some delay in her speech progression so we ended up teaching her some basic sign language instead. I think we’re going to continue learning ASL as a family, even after she catches up linguistically. We’re enjoying it and finding that it comes in handy in certain situations. Regan is too adorable – Katie caught me watching it & asked to see it again & again also! We should get them together again for a playdate (and cocktails for us!) on one of your next trips home!
